Westside values the input of its tenants, and there are many ways you can choose to be involved to guide decisions about your housing and community.

Tenant Satisfaction Survey

Conducted every two years by Community Housing Industry Council NSW (CHIA NSW), the Tenant Satisfaction Survey gathers feedback from our tenants on our housing and maintenance service and other topics affecting your home and tenancy.

The last survey was conducted in April 2020.

Roaming maintenance meetings

You told us you want open and honest conversations about your home and maintenance. We roam all over Adelaide and the hills and visit a space close to you for one-on-one for 30-minute maintenance meetings.

Come along and talk to our Asset Maintenance Coordinator about:

  • your homes’ 10-year maintenance plan
  • long term or ongoing maintenance or repair issues you may have
  • alterations you may want to make to your home.

Check the 2021 schedule for a location and date close to you, and contact us to book in a time.

Tenant Advisory Group (TAG)

Our Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) supports the decision-making process for new or reviewed policies, projects and engagement activities for Westside Housing. This small group of tenants has helped with our website upgrade project, new Company branding and setting tenant priorities from Tenant Satisfaction Survey’s.

We welcome any Westside tenant to enquire about joining the Tenant Advisory Group, who meets on average twice per year.

General consultation

We consult with tenants regularly to help us make changes or improvements to policies, projects and our service. These opportunities will be advertised in the Inside Westside newsletter, eNewsletters, via mail and SMS.

Events

Left, a visit to Sophie’s Patch in Mount Barker in 2019; a BBQ lunch held in Pennington in 2017.

We host events for tenants on a range of topics. Events focus on topics that support tenancies and connect communities. It may be a visit to a garden to learn about water savings, or a welcome BBQ at a unit complex.

Check out our Facebook page, or news (internal link) for upcoming events.
