An experienced Executive Manager with 20 years’ experience in social housing and the construction industry, Julie strongly believes that housing is the most effective social inclusion and anti-poverty tool available to society. Alongside her work in the not-for-profit sector Julie is also a trainer for the Real Estate Institute of SA.

Alison Clare

Manager, Housing Services

Experience

Alison has spent most of her career in high level policy, program support, reporting and office management roles. Having started her career in the building and construction industry and private real estate, Alison moved to the community housing sector in 2010. She worked to help grow a prominent tier 1 provider before moving across to Westside. Her current role sees her support the current CEO in aspirations to nurture Westside into a tier 1 housing provider, meet regulatory requirements, support staff through the development of policy and procedures and support the Westside Board.

Gino Bria

Experience

An experienced development manager with 30 years’ experience in Social and Affordable housing. Gino has held senior positions in both the government and not for profit sector and has a wide background in major projects across the various property and development disciplines and has successfully managed Joint Venture projects with the private sector, Council and other community groups demonstrating his collaborative nature and his commitment to achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties. His experience spans across Housing and Land development as well as Industrial, and Commercial construction and fit out. Several of his recent projects have addressed focused on Aged care, Early learning, Disability, Social and Affordable Housing including special needs such as Domestic Violence and exceptional needs.

Redevelopment of poor performing stock is at the fore front of the current capital program. This will address properties that have reached the end of their economic life cycle and provide land to deliver more affordable and social housing for our clients.

Charlotte Kromwyk

Experience

Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and financial management, mainly in the not-for-profit sector. A large part of her experience has been gained in the Aboriginal community-controlled health sector where she was involved in all aspects of financial management, including planning and implementation of organisational growth strategies. Having seen the detrimental effect of homelessness on both physical and mental health, she is committed to continuing her career in the community housing sector.
