Help us celebrate the garden you love.
Westside is once again running the Westside Garden Competition just in time for spring … and you could win $200! Tenants are invited to submit photos of their garden and a couple of sentences about what your garden means to you. Our four category winners will each receive a $50 Bunnings card, and our overall winner will receive a $200 Bunnings card.
You don’t have to be a master gardener to enter – there are four different categories which should have something for everyone!
The categories are:
- Best small garden (indoor, balcony, courtyard)
- Best larger garden (front or back)
- Best fruit and vegetable garden
- Most improved yard (before and after photos needed)

Entries open on Monday 17 August 2026 and close on Monday 14 September 2026.
Competition winners will be published in Inside Westside and automatically entered into the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA) SA Growing Together Awards for another chance at a prize.
By entering the Westside Garden Competition, you acknowledge that you are happy to have this occur if you are a category winner. Winners will be notified by phone and email.
