Social and Affordable Housing at Prospect
Safe and affordable housing provides an opportunity for people to thrive in our community.
This development was delivered by Westside Housing through the State Government’s Community Housing Asset Renewal Program. The four high-quality homes are tenure-blind and provide a mix of social and affordable rental housing, helping to meet demand from people on very low to moderate incomes. This project is part of a larger development program to renew and improve our housing stock, delivering homes that are more fit for contemporary living.
The project transformed the site through the demolition of a 1948 dwelling and the construction of four spacious three-bedroom townhouses.
Set on a 795m² site, the townhouses range in size from 141m² to 156m² and have been designed to provide comfortable, modern homes for residents.
The social housing will be allocated through the Social Housing Register, and the affordable housing advertised through realestate.com
Allocation of the social housing homes will occur through the Social Housing Register, with affordable rental opportunities advertised via realestate.com.au.
